One is a NigelSlater recipe and the other is from Bojon Gourmet. The biscuit comes from Justin Gellatly’s book ‘Bread, Cake, Doughnut, Pudding’, I know this book has been around a long time, but I only just got a copy for Christmas

I have to say that I actually find them a bit too sweet for my taste, so I have given you a fantastic recipe by NigelSlater, from his wonderful book "The Kitchen Diaries", for Lemon and Rosewater-frosted Pistachio and Orange cake instead
